• • Isolating strains of Xanthomonas campestris pv juglandis (Xcj) from New Zealand
  • Collecting bacteriophages that can lyse X. c. pv juglandis
  • Determining which set of bacteriophages could lyse all strains of Xcj
  • Determining the ability of the Xcj strains resistant to one bacteriophage to become resistant to other bacteriophages
  • Developing a Xcj pathogenicity or virulence bioassay
